Bill Bray was a former police officer who served as Michael Jackson's long-time head of security and trusted confidant.
Hired initially in 1971 to provide security for the Jackson 5, Bray later became director of security for both the group and Michael Jackson during the height of his solo career.
Bray accompanied Jackson worldwide on tours, public appearances, and recording sessions.
Jackson deeply trusted him, frequently referring to Bray as a "father" figure. (See letter in the last slide)
Bray retired from his role in 1996 and passed away in November 2005 at the age of 80.
