That’s D1, D2, D3, & NAIA I’m not sure how many was at this particular game, but it was packed out. I watched two teams try to play zone defense today… I left both games instantly. AAU coaches, come on, man. Running a 2-3 zone during a live period is nasty work. This is the biggest evaluation window of the year. Kids need to show us tbey can guard or not 😩

Campbell Henley is one of the most intriguing guards in Tennessee’s 2030 class. At 5’10”, she possesses the size, versatility, and athleticism to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Her ability to play in transition immediately stands out, consistently beating defenses down the floor while creating easy scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates.

Defensively, Henley is relentless. She uses her length, anticipation, and activity to disrupt passing lanes, generate turnovers, and quickly convert defense into offense. Offensively, she’s a true three-level scorer who can attack the rim, create off the dribble, finish with either hand, and stretch defenses well beyond the three-point line with deep shooting range.

Already holding an offer and has interest from multiple D1 and D2 schools, Henley continues to establish herself as one of the premier prospects in Tennessee’s 2030 class. She’ll be competing in the Aqua (Elite) Division at Run for the Roses with the Tennessee Flight Trotters, where college coaches and evaluators should make it a priority to watch her compete.

• Disruptive on-ball and help defender who creates turnovers

Areas for Development
• Continue improving off-ball movement and cutting consistency
• Read secondary help defenders earlier when attacking the basket
• Become a more consistent rebounder on both ends and needs to block out better instead of waiting on the rebound to come to her
• Recognize and utilize ball screens quicker to maximize offensive opportunities
• Needs to be more selfish with the ball has a tendency to pass when she should shoot

Scout’s Summary

Henley is at her best when playing in an up-tempo system that allows her to attack in space, push the pace, and make quick decisions. Her combination of size, skill, shooting ability, and defensive intensity makes her one of the more complete guards in the 2030 class. She needs to operate in a free reign environment in an active offense with constant movement from all players.

This summer, Henley helped lead Concord Christian High School to multiple impressive victories, including several dominant wins over traditionally respected TN powerhouse programs . As a rising freshman, she consistently proved she can impact winning against quality competition.

Bottom Line: Campbell Henley is a high-level prospect with tremendous upside. Programs looking for a versatile guard who can defend, score from anywhere on the floor, and elevate the players around her should have her firmly on their radar.

I was told I wasn’t ready for high school
I was taken out of games for “turnovers”
I was benched and lied to for the reasons
I was belittled and yelled at and called uncoachable.
I was told I didn’t “trust the process”
I was told a lot of things in the last 7 months.

Maybe I turned the ball over…Maybe I didn’t fit the mold. Maybe a lot of things……….i played sick, I played injured and I gave it everything I had. You didn’t break me….you made me stronger.

My favorite coach told me “you don’t win big games playing it safe”

I love my high school coaches. I love my TEAM!!!
I love my family. I am enjoying the game again. I love everyone who believes in me!
