@Sandobaito @msheensource My late husband and I saw this wonderful production of Amadeus .we had the pleasure of meeting Michael afterwards , I remember he was concerned about his miming of playing the piano because my husband was a classical musician....he had nothing to worry about.

[whitstablemusic @whitmus6]

@msheensource Talking of photos...I've been looking at the book of photos/ autographs from the days of Bucks Audio Cassettes. The photo of you is very like this one when you came and read Crime and Punishment in November 1996 and I think others. Love the banter in "Staged " From Gill Smyth

[whitstablemusic @whitmus6]

@vcjonesfish wishing you all the best possible break....and enjoy the cocktails. I would choose a Negroni and treat you all to one too ! Best wishes from Gill.

[whitstablemusic @whitmus6]

@jamesmurphynow Crystal Palace and Kenwood. those names bring back so many memories , my late husband Alan Smyth was a freelance viola player with Sid Sax's band . Our 2 sons now in their mid 40s loved those evenings, such a relaxed way to hear classical music & fireworks !

[whitstablemusic @whitmus6]

@wigmore_hall @bachtrack You said it was an emotional event for you both and I'm sure the same can be said for all your many listeners and admirers. What a great hour of wonderfully played music you gave us all. Best wishes from you fans in Whitstable. From Gill.

[whitstablemusic @whitmus6]

@michaelcmchale @wigmore_hall @BBCRadio3 Me too ! 18th June is firmly in my diary. I think the last time I heard you playing was with Michael. C. at the Wigmore. Hope life is treating you ok. All the best from Gill.
