@taylorsschumann Crunchy mom FB groups are my FAV! It’s the crunchy combined with the unhinged baby name choices. It’s very counter cultural to be both anti vax AND pro unneeded vowels and consonants.
@drvolts Do everything via email. One phone call. Everything else email. Lock it in. Send any pre info so they can have the paperwork ready when you arrive. And be very clear that you will not be sitting around…the paperwork needs to be done and the car needs to be washed and ready.
This is what @tapairportugal claims on their website. Per the website, it’s $91 to check a bag. Per the call center it’s $123. They also claim the website says it’s a sliding scale. No where there do I see a sliding scale.
I’m find it astounding that @tapairportugal lists one price for checked bags, then gives you a price double the amount online when you try to pay for a bag. Also the website times out 10 mins while trying to make any changes.
@jo_beth_c Pregnant with my first in the first half of 2020. We sent an email to friends a month before I was due (fam knew) and then a month post birth we dropped a “forgot to tell you something” social post. It was amazing.
@taylorsschumann I’ve said this for years (also work in voter rights spaces), but if the only way you can win is to suppress voters then you’ve already lost. God forbid they actually listen to constituents and what they actually want/need.
@chenderson Every 2-3 years for DC Superior, never for normal Federal, once for a special Federal (which is apparently a different pool than normal federal).
@taylorsschumann I do read aloud time of the mom groups cause it’s wild. My personal “favorites” the women who claim their husbands will divorce them (or worse) if they buy another thing and then post of screenshot of them buying all the things with a ha ha tone. I just…what??
@KaitlynSchiess I went for non-denom, age of accountability baptism ideas to bring Anglican and pro infant baptism. The line “that they may never know a day apart from the Lord” changed me and my theological understanding of baptism.
Black Friday sales just don’t hit the same way they used to — now I’ve strategically planned for stock ups on children’s bath products, shoe size ups, and deeply discounted kids swimwear for next summer. I used to be fun.
There is something ironic about @interiordefine having a Black Friday sale when they can’t seem to deliver a couch that has been made and in the states since July. (Which is supposed to replace the damaged one we got a year ago).
