A high school student told me that at his school a lot of the kids start fake startups and nonprofits for college admissions. He asked how YC filters out fake ideas, and I realized this is a very complicated question.
Good catch! Let's do a deep dive and take this offline. Put together a quick one pager to add some color on this issue then get a few rockstar VPs with some bandwidth for a quick call. Some of them probably already have balls in the air because they wear many hats so keep it to a 30,000 foot view before letting them get too deep in the weeds.
Focus on how their core competencies might have synergy with your idea. Probably won't be a silver bullet for this so also think about right sizing the team to tackle this before we get boots on the ground. Table stakes for this should be low so watch out for overthinking it and anyone trying to move the goalposts to make this a bigger deal than it is.
If you run into any major issues, ping me. The last thing I want to do is try to boil the ocean. We can always throw it over the wall to the strategic growth team if we absolutely have to. Once you think you have some actionable items let's be sure our ducks are in a row and I can run it up the flagpole. As long as the powers that be don't park this idea we can circle back in person for a final action plan to execute.
I'll want to be involved in that meeting so keep in mind when scheduling that I have a hard stop at 2:30 on Tuesday's and Thursday's for 🏌🏽.
Great work. I think this could really move the needle while we are adjusting to the new normal.
Thanks in advance,
"but how do i learn ml with chatgpt"
don't ask me, ask chatgpt. that's literally the entire secret. take whatever questions you throw at real people, and ask it to chatgpt. this is insanely hard to internalize
