Feature idea for @heyhey - Move the “mark all as seen” button to the top, if I miss a day, I put it off because it sucks so much having to scroll all the way down… I just had to finally admit defeat and scroll through 10 days of emails. Why would anybody think that’s good UX?

They waited patiently for more than 50 years to stack the courts and turn America back to our darkest days of radical inequality.

In just a little more than a year, the compromised and corrupt conservative SCOTUS trashed decades of progress and precedents.

They decided that student loan forgiveness during a national emergency was an “overreach”, but PPP Loan forgiveness was not.

They decided that leveling the playing field and providing an equal opportunity at a high-quality education for black people and POC was unfair, but legacy admissions was not.

They decided that if you call yourself a conservative Christian you can refuse to provide services for same-sex marriages.

They decided that they, not women, have the right to decide on their own reproductive health care.

The Supreme Court, having divorced itself from the fundamental basis of our legal system, honoring precedent, is now a ruling political party legislating from the bench.

Think they’re going to stop here?

Elections matter.

BREAKING: The Texas Senate just passed a bill that would compel every single public school classroom in the state to display a copy of the Ten Commandments. Additionally, a bill was passed to set aside time during the day for prayer and reading the Bible.

You might be thinking "They can't do that."

You might be thinking "That's unconstitutional."

Well it is, but they did it, despite the fact that a Supreme Court verdict back in 1980, Stone v. Graham, determined that it violated the Establishment Clause of the Constitution when Kentucky tried the exact same thing.

Conservative Republicans have been steadily chipping away at the norms and laws that protect our nation's most vulnerable citizens, like how they did away with crucial segment from the Voting Rights Act, and how they just overturned Roe v Wade.

Laws like this will negatively impact upon students who do not share the same religious beliefs as the majority of students, and could even stigmatize them as lesser members of the student body.
