Fernanda Torres reacts to Jennifer Lopez saying she found "I'm Still Here" healing during her divorce from Ben Affleck:
“Wow. That is so, so moving," Torres tells Variety. “This reaction speaks so deeply to Walter Salles' work ... Anyone, regardless of where they come from, can understand the foundational idea of family. It’s a sensitivity characteristic of Walter’s work. It’s a human matter.”

20 years ago today Nelly Furtado released her album ‘Loose’, a defining era of the second half of the 00s.
The album was a major departure from her previous work, both sonically and visually; a move that worked out well for her commercially and critically. Some detractors did voice that they felt her more overt sexual image was just a ploy to sell records.
The album features the global hits “Promiscuous”, “Maneater”, “Say It Right” and “All Good Things (Come To An End)”.
The era won Nelly her first Brit Award (International Female Solo Artist, 2007) and two Grammy nominations.
In the years since its release, many have remarked how ‘Loose’ still sounds as fresh in the present day as it did in 2006. The Guardian reflected on Timbaland and Nelly’s work on ‘Loose’ saying, “Loose is a celebration of the inspired looseness of pop” and that it “created a blueprint for modern pop.”
