Mother-son duo wants to stop the Rs 72,000 crore development project in Great Nicobar, citing concerns for the tribals – the Nicobarese and the Shompen.

Do you know what the actual tribal population there is?
Just 1,200.

Shompen: around 200
Nicobarese: around 1,000

The island’s area is 950 sq km. Out of this, 100 sq km will be used for the project, 850 sq km will remain reserved for these 1,200 tribals.

And the interesting part?
These tribals have already given an NOC to the central government, clearly stating they have no objection to the project.

On the other hand, lakhs of tribals across India become victims every year of conversion, land jihad, and love jihad, yet this mother-son duo has never raised their voice for them.

So, is this really love for tribals, or is it love for China?
