In early July, a letter was sent to the entire Council addressing the lack of labor standards in the City's adaptive reuse ordinance. This oversight further enriches the Lee family and other developers, contractors, and subcontractors who disregard their workers.

We need labor standards - a residential construction worker minimum wage, requiring developers of multifamily housing to pay a living wage with a right of private action to enforce that wage.
