Dear Gods and Goddesses above, what had he done wrong?
This would officially mark his third attempt at summoning a, let’s say, more powerful demon. He had little to no problems at all summoning all the little ones, so why must trouble occur now?
In the first attempt, nothing –
earlier. His eyes narrowed slightly toward you, though, wondering how would you react. Wouldn’t be so pleasant, he bitterly assumed. He had no idea how to treat you at this point, so he tried (keyword: tried) to be as patient as he could as if you were a child lashing out –
you’d hurt him for real? This whole summoning thing would be such a waste, then. He didn’t want to release his grip, though. His free hand then went up to give you a middle finger.
