Just 250 years ago, America didn’t exist. Let that sink in.
Within three generations of people, this country has accomplished the impossible
> first country to send human to the moon
> invented the internet and core infrastructure behind it (ARPANET, TCP/IP)
> invented airplanes
> invented the telephone
> invented electricity distribution
> invented reusable rockets
> invented the polio vaccine and mRNA technology
> invented the GPS
> built the deepest capital markets in history
> won 34% of all nobel prize awards, more than the next two countries combined
> annually spend a third of the world’s entire R&D budget
> led the Genome project that sequenced human DNA
> hold just 4% of the population but contribute 25% to the world’s GDP
> hold the oldest written national constitution that still remains in force
The birth of America was not just a win for Americans. It was a win for the entire world.
God bless America. Greatest country on the planet.
Last season Dom Decker helped Murray State eliminate Ole Miss in the Oxford Regional. Tonight he sends the Rebels to a Super Regional with a walk off sac-fly
"They're just sitting back laughing... Ole Miss has got a number of bullets in the chamber, and they haven't used them..." What @Outkick's @TreyWallace has heard ⬇️
@3ManFront | #CollegeFootball
“This wasn’t a slip of the tongue, he didn’t even ask Kiffin about the racism aspect, he just started rifting. This is Kiffin trying to wipe Ole Miss off the face of the Earth, he’s still very bitter at them because they wouldn’t let him coach in the playoffs”
Kiffin used Ole Miss to wash the stink of his own past away before weaponizing the worst parts of that same school’s history against them to justify a decision that he made
I don’t have enough graduate degrees to explain the amounts of irony and cognitive dissonance at play here
If the UK joined the US as the 51st state.
We would be the poorest state in the entire union.
Mississippi which is portrayed at swamp dwelling hillbillies in majority of international media is above us.
I don’t think people grasp how far we’ve fallen in real terms when it comes to GDP per capita.
We’ve seen no growth for almost an entire generations.
We’ve seen our productivity decrease and our tax increases.
The average person on the UK, on £50,000 is less well off than your average Mississippi swamp dweller.
@ReggieMacHole@realHunterEstes Incredibly from the months of April to September. Would highly recommend Oxford especially during the fall or Ocean Springs on the coast during Mardi Gras season
@ReggieMacHole@realHunterEstes The southwest portion is relatively similar. As you move southeast it becomes a more traditional coastline with beaches and palm trees. North and Eastern MS have rolling hills and the most trees you’ve ever see in your life, and the Delta has completely flat farmland
