Dear #Infosec, pay attention when good ppl leave high profile positions. You shouldn’t be questioning their capabilities; rather the high profile company they are willing to walk away from. #TruthsIveLearned
Deep down you know exactly what you're capable of. There's even those moments where you get a glimpse of all the potential you have. YOU WILL GET THERE!
May you be willing to sacrifice the habits, things & situations that are standing in the way of your calling to your success.
i’m heading to the gym on a friday evening, after a long, stressful week, when i’d much rather lay in bed and binge watch netflix - because it’s the consistent choices like this one that will eventually add up to huge progress
keep GOING.

Interesting Log4j payload I discovered, simply omit the closing brace }, and now you will potentially get a bunch of data exfiltrated to your server until the next } appears in that data. Had it work on a FANG target...
log4j2 / log4shell update for @elastic JVM based products:
* elasticsearch doesn‘t allow code execution (java security manager saves the 🥓again), but there’s a data leak issue. there will be an upgrade soon and you can set the JVM option to mitigate on elasticsearch 5.6.11+
one may argue that the best thing that results from having widespread critical vulnerabilities like log4j is the slightly higher cybersecurity budgets when CISOs go “oh frick,” but i personally am here for the wonderful memes that will be shared in the coming days
The past few weeks I have been playing around with the Elastic Agent on macOS. I made walkthrough to get setup with a ELK stack and Elastic Agent in case it helps someone else.
