Arkansas didn’t just lose games: we burned $49 million to become the worst team in the SEC since 2017.

Chad Morris cost us $21M for four wins.
Sam Pittman’s “dream job” raise ballooned his buyout and kept us stuck in mediocrity for two extra years.

And the wildest part?
Lane Kiffin was ready to sign. Ole Miss bumped the offer and we walked away…all while still writing Morris a $21M check.

Fast forward:
Ole Miss paid $41M to chase a national title.
We paid $49M to chase the bottom of the conference.

If HY worked at an investment firm, he would’ve been fired YEARS ago.

Makes sense that no one is willing to pony up big $$$ for a bad decision maker.

Sorry for the delay in commenting. I was getting prepared to go on CBS Sports to talk Ryan Silverfield and Arkansas, but they decided Florida and Auburn hires were way more interesting and decided last minute not to have me on. I can't say I blame them. I'd bump me too.

This is nothing against Ryan Silverfield. He wants the Arkansas head coaching job. Glad someone does... But it just shows how disconnected Arkansas is with their own fanbase.

There is literally not one single Hog fan I have seen who has expressed excitement on a day everyone was looking forward to since this started. I see angry, apathetic, sad, disbelief and laughter as a means of coping.

But should it be a surprise? As I have said many times, as you all good and well know, Arkansas has the worst football program in the SEC. So these are the kinds of decisions you get.

Arkansas needed to make a hire fans could rally behind, a hire that would lead to a groundswell of support, and this just is not what anybody had in mind. #wps
