We know about Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey of service, which began on October 7, 2001 as Gujarat CM.
But do you know how it actually began?

In the current global context, the New Delhi Declaration carries a larger message that:
Institutions must evolve with realities.
Development must remain at the centre of the global agenda.
The voice of the Global South must be heard with greater weight.
BRICS stands for dialogue, reform, peace and a more representative multilateral order.
At the same time, BRICS will keep speaking firmly against terrorism, double standards and threats to international stability.
The Declaration also looks firmly to the future.
BRICS will deepen cooperation in AI, Digital Public Infrastructure, quantum technologies, StartUps, MSMEs, science and research.
We will strengthen the New Development Bank and work together on food, health, energy security, strong supply chains and sustainable infrastructure.
The New Delhi Declaration, adopted unanimously at the 2026 BRICS Delhi Summit, reflects the confidence of a BRICS that is wider in reach and stronger in purpose.
With a focus on innovation, sustainability, people-to-people ties and more, the endeavour is to make cooperation more practical, development-oriented and responsive to the aspirations of the BRICS nations.
I thank all the fellow BRICS nations and their leaders for its adoption.

Swami Vivekananda’s captivating address offered a glimpse of the civilisational ethos of India.
His inspiring words still reverberate across the world.

Some memorable moments from Raksha Bandhan celebrations at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg.
May this festival deepen the bonds of affection and harmony.
May it bring happiness and prosperity to everyone.
Deeply saddened by the passing of Shri A. Balakrishnan Ji, who served as the All India President of Vivekananda Kendra.
Balakrishnan Ji devoted more than five decades of his life to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and to the service of society. As one of the early Jeevanvratis of Vivekananda Kendra, he worked tirelessly across the country. He had a particularly deep association with the Northeast. He played an important role in educational, social and nation-building activities.
My heartfelt condolences to the entire Vivekananda Kendra family and his admirers. Om Shanti.

Congratulations to the newly appointed National Office Bearers of the BJP and those who have been given various responsibilities in the Party. This newly appointed team brings together organisational experience, energy and grassroots connect. I am confident they will give their best in strengthening our Party and focussing on public service. My best wishes to them.

The other day Rahul Gandhi betrayed his heart’s deepest desire when he sat outside the Prime Minister’s house, at the gate, on the footpath.
The police had such a tough time taking him away from the gate. It appeared he had glued himself to the place. His refusal to leave the gate of the PM’s house, I thought, could potentially make a powerful visual for an adhesive advertisement. I was reminded of those classic Fevicol ads.
Rahul Gandhi wants to desperately get past the gate on 7 LKM and occupy the PM’s house. It may be his dream (and that of his mother too) but it is certainly not his destiny. For all his life the people of India will ensure that he remains at the gate, on the footpath of the PM’s house. All the drama he is doing since he came back from his vacation will have no impact.
Finally, the constituency of young people that he assumed he had in his bag has shown him his place. He had no adhesive to keep them with him. This is bound to frustrate him, and he will soon go abroad, for a vacation, again.
