@ABBlackbelt@dryiu_verna@AHS_media There's plenty of shelled space at SHC as well. My main concerns is the short staffing issues that already exist. Will management be returning to scope to care for patients?
Our women & men of the @CanadianForces are always there for Canadians when they need them, like on Monday when they helped @GovCanHealth to unpack a shipment of 8 million surgical masks that will help our healthcare workers across the country. #ReadyToServe#CAF#COVIDー19
@CGYFireFighters My husband and I have been recently diagnosed with covid. I would be willing to donate blood or plasma for research and treatments. Any idea how to volunteer for this? Who can I contact?
Today, we delivered face masks made by our design & development teams to a local LA hospital. We’re also working to provide masks to several other healthcare institutions across the U.S. Thank you to the medical community for working tirelessly to keep us safe.
@calgaryherald Move on to cleaner energy already. Oil and gas in Alberta is like the auto industry in Detroit. It was a good run, but now it's time to explore other possibilities.
@Noway1a @Bill_Morneau@JustinTrudeau To be fair, it wasn't a bad move, China will be back up and running before Canada and they can produce masks to return to us. I just hope we have enough in the meantime
@CMOH_Alberta By donating blood, @universityofcalgary could assist in worldwide research and plasma from these patients could aid in treatments for their family members and other Canadians. @JustinTrudeau Let's do things differently, and get it right the first time. (3/3)
@CMOH_Alberta Patients often do better with family to assist with their care. This will also ease some of the nursing burden we will face in the coming months. #unitednursesofalberta would be happy about a little extra help.
These caregivers would agree to participate in research. (2/3)
@CMOH_Alberta Some food for thought.. what if @ahs let one caregiver stay with the patient? For the entire length of their families' stay..
Hear me out:
The patient likely caught #COVID19 from said caregiver anyways. This way, that person is no longer able to infect the community. (1/3)
@AHS_media Let's get a move on with this PPE please! The hurricane is going to hit and we'll be standing there with umbrellas, when we need scuba suits!
@calgarysun @sunrickbell Alberta: "you think @jkenney could piss off healthcare workers more then he has already?"
Kenny: "hold my beer"
*Spends absurd amount of money on dying enterprise while frontline healthcare workers fight a pandemic without any government support whatsoever*
We have heard some people are not disclosing symptoms of #COVID19AB when calling emergency services. I want to assure you that you will receive treatment and it is important to tell dispatchers so workers can help you, protect themselves and prevent the spread.
@CanadianPM@JustinTrudeau What benefits will you offer front-line workers who are risking their health and their families to care for Canadians during this time?
Changing our #COVID19AB testing protocols will allow us to focus Alberta’s testing capacity on those most at risk.
This is consistent with the approach happening across Canada. (1/3)
