dad bod this…dad bod that… but the mum bod is seen as “she’s really let herself go” and lazy and gross even though she was the one actually carrying the baby for 9 months…
@Balanceism but not for everyone - by behaviour, sure! Just by a quick look at someone’s outfit- you can’t actively see autism every time is what I’m saying :)
has anyone considered that autism doesn’t look like anything? Both of these could be accurate descriptions of someone with autism because you can’t SEE autism
@cavesofsteel I’m saying that on the surface, you can’t always immediately SEE (visually) that someone has Autism. It’s not in a means to HIDE autism at all. Sure, you can see autism when interacting with someone! You can’t always see it just by looking at someone is what I’m trying to get at
@EthereaIMush@NoNonsenseND I completely agree! I personally really liked the first one and thought it was the most accurate (in my OPINION and experience around autism) :)
@NoNonsenseND here’s my severely autistic bother who doesn’t look like either because autism doesn’t look like anything!! he doesn’t wear a fluffy tail and he doesn’t gaf about fidget spinners lmao.
