@DanReynolds I believe you're a good person. I believe you value every life. But is that true Dan? I've listened to all your songs, know your struggles; loneliness, depression, disease
divorce. You tell us in each of your concerts thst our lives are worth living for. But is that true? You say every life, deserves a chance.
But you sit back and watch as innocents are being killed as if it was a game. Isn't it about love? About where did we all go wrong? To anyone reading this, do you think its humane to kill anyone without mercy, not just men or women, but children?
My opinion matters little as I am nobody to you who is reading this. But please, sit down. Think for a while, open your eyes, open your mind, open your hearts. Does anyone innocent as children deserve to be killed? Burnt alive?
Dan, if you're ever reading this. I believe you're a good guy and you're not afraid to stand up. Your songs have helped me through hell and back, to this day. I'll let you know again, I'm a nobody, made dumb decisions and downright stupid. But seeing people being killed and done horrible things to, just breaks me.
Please, from the bottom of my heart. Speak up, don't be afraid. I'm just a spec of nothingness to anyone else, to this Earth and to this world, if I had disappeared, nothing would change.
Please, I beg, I believe you who's reading this, you're a good person.
On a side note I hope this message reaches. Thank you for taking your time to read, if you're having a bad day, I hope it gets better for you. I love you guys!

@Simon_Hypixel I hope pets will be far more useful than other blocky game pets, :)..
I hope we get terraria style accessories, and terraria style weapons.. like magical swords(i.e, terrablade... or enchanted sword, or meowmere... etc.. you get what im talking about..)
@Simon_Hypixel I love minecraft, but you know what I love about mc? Restone... but what i like more? Create mod... it'll be cool if create mod style was somewhat in Hytale.. I really like the ideas of making machines/vehicles/factories.. or anything you want really. Redstone and Create.
When I say Hytale is not good enough, I genuinely mean it. It's not some reverse psychology trick!
Real talk: We are using a 4-year-old game build with over 300 versions (branches) of prototypes that we Frankenstein together in record time into a single branch. None of it was meant to be released this quickly and in this way.
There are barely any game progression mechanics configured, and we have to implement them all in record time to make it somewhat enjoyable.
Of course, I'm confident it's going to be "ok" for release. However, this is the current situation we are dealing with, on top of all the bug fixes, refactors, clean-ups and other ongoing issues that we are facing. We inherited a true hardcore engineering and design challenge, and we are on the clock to deliver early access.
The exploration of the game is fun, don't get me wrong, but man, I wish we had more time to get a few more features or configurations in to enhance that experience, but no, we break the curse of release and fix later. This will come at a significant cost; some people will be permanently convinced the game is doomed to remain in this state, unaware that this is an authentic early access experience. I hope that people who share the game will explain the situation we are in and how we got here. Keep in mind, the gameplay video doesn't show much of the gameloop because, well, there isn't much of it. Combat, game vibe, and exploration are great fun, but there needs to be mechanics to keep it going over time.
One thing I have learned over time is to enjoy the painful feedback. It is the most critical part of making games and improving yourself as a game designer. Of course, you have to be filtering out the ones that want to steer you in their own vision of what the game should be, so it's a balancing act.
When I read negative feedback on the gameplay video, I don't get defensive or hurt. I'm literally like, "Yep, they are not wrong" or "Why do they think like this? How can I solve their problem?" This has taken me years to get to that point. Our community, over the last 14 years on MC, has not been shy about giving us their feedback.
The one thing I can promise is that the game is owned by someone who cares and understands the situation, and I will do my best to empower my team to make a great game, however long it takes. This time, with all of you along for the ride, if you wish to be a part of it.
To clarify, it would require a LOT less money to get to something that could be released in « Very Early Access » with temporarily removed features. We could just get the community involved ASAP in modding / bug reports / feature requests / crowdfunding and find ways to use Shared Source and Open Source with cash bounties to speed up production and keep team relatively small.
Guys, please, this is important, keep your expectations extremely low because usually when large companies shutdown a project like this the chances of revival are next to impossible. Yes, I made the decision, I will give my best to save Hytale. Even if it’s 1% chance. Its the least I can do to the same community that gave me the opportunity to be where I am today.
I will reach out, however remember it will take a while, give it some time. It will take months to get answers and months to get done. I will share as much as possible as I go through the process.

I get it 100%, look I am even down to put 25 millions USD by myself to finish Hytale, that’s how much I believe in it.
No kickstarter, just raw passion, high pressure and high risk taking. Reduce scope: legacy engine, pc only first, open source some parts, small team, cut unfinished features to accelerate towards beta. Get players in ASAP to support development. I even already have a dozen of Hytale legacy engine veterans working with me.
That’s what I would do, but I have not reached out, I’m just thinking about it now because of the bullying haha. This would be a massive challenge and impact all aspects of my life so I would probably need to consult with my family first!
