@LVCBaseball Hell of a season and a heck of a regional. I don't think anyone outside of the program would have given you much of a shot as the 4 seed to win. You pushed them all three games. Tough loss in extras, nice win in game 2, and had them on the ropes in #3 with a chance to win late.

[Wayne Hurd @whurd302]

@LVCathletics @LVCBaseball looking forward to stopping over after the grad ceremonies.

@kylebandujo @Ben_Upton5 The 2.0 guys go to JUCo and study turf management or a trade

[Wayne Hurd @whurd302]

@kylebandujo @Ben_Upton5 Batting average is useless for HS players. Different levels of competition, unfair assessments of what is a hit. Power numbers on small fields. coaches rely on video, and metrics. .350 with a 2.0 in HS won’t be eligible come spring

[Wayne Hurd @whurd302]

@SeanGreeneWDEL Thanks for the updates, Sean. Tough day for gun owners. Biggest question is when will all of these bills go into effect?

[Wayne Hurd @whurd302]

@jimtwomey22 @Seth_3773 The above numbers are for NCAA D1. D2 schools can offer up a total of 9 full scholarships. D3 does not give athletic scholarships nor do Ivy League schools. NAIA offers 12 scholarships, JUCO can offer up to 24. Ultimately, pick a school that you will like if baseball goes away

[Wayne Hurd @whurd302]

@jimtwomey22 @Seth_3773 Teams are held accountable for their academic progress so coaches want strong students. Also you will receive far more academic scholarship money than baseball money. If a school fully funds the scholarship allotment there are only 11.7 full scholarships for 35 guys.

@AlexBarham @Ben_Upton5 The way the balls were flying out during regionals, it’s scary to think what an older BESR bat would do in the hands of some of these guys like Doershing from OKState
