There are apparently 61,000 changes of circumstances in the NDIS backlog now.

That might include things like homelessness or your mum dying and leaving you without support. Or an accident or injury, drastically exacerbating your support needs.

@criprights Yes- the rule - no white goods. But happy to pay someone to come and wash the dishes each day rather than supply a dishwasher. No wonder the budget blows out. Ridiculous rule. And then the big fuss about cost blowouts with disabled people blamed.

They understood the stress of uni, helped with navigating computer and were great scribes. They got the language . Knew about the uni system.

There are so many different nuances to consider when employing someone who enters our home, family and all that entails. Must have the right to choose the right people for the job. Uni students have been the perfect support
