"You've obliterated 3 of their nuclear sites, but they got a 4th site, maybe, at Pickaxe Mountain. Before you enter into another deal, will you insist that IAEA inspectors get down into that deep, deep, deep tunnel...?"
@POTUS: "Absolutely. They don't have it because we have eyes... we have a lot of eyes on it— but Pickaxe is a possible target for a nice, big, fat shot right in the front door."
@VolSignals Great post. Fair to say that very short horizons (news algos, Trump tweets, FOMC) are more influenced by news (intraday), mid time horizons (week(s) by flows/positioning and long horizons (multiple months) by macro trends and narratives (recession, monetary, valuation, themes)?
@DeItaone@grok please validate if this quote was meant as a sufficient condition or merely as an initial one, also, when it was made relative to Trump statements this afternoon.
@DeItaone Careful with this quote. This was named as a first condition, necessary but not surfficient. Find the original Farsi quotes that were contemporaneous. It was also stated prior to the Trump statement that the war is essentially over. So, while true, not especially dovish.
@HarrisonShann12@markoinny Some radioactive material (which they have plenty off), on a boat loaded with conventional explosive. Boom, temporarily closed for a while. The MAD option may seem better than going out the Saddam or Khadaffi way. Horrible thing, of course, but they do have extreme options.
@SpencerHakimian How about this: “Other countries have been taking advantage of us too long, ripping us off. No more. The USA will only pay interest on bonds held by American citizens. All bonds held by foreigners, principal only, 30 yrs. Thank you for your attentuon to this matter. -DJT”.
@JetBlue I kept telling the gate person to have a little empathy, to please not do this, the flight arrives too late, the connection is too short, there are obviously plenty of spaces available based on the number of people still in line.
@JetBlue I am talking to the counter. I bet you this is happening to 000s of customers daily due to pre-emptying possible delays by leaving overhead space and grabbing bags by group.
@JetBlue I was first to get the bag taken. Lack of empathy and common sense given the short connection and long trip. Lack of efficiency leaving literally more than ten spaces empty, creating a hassle for customers.
@JetBlue Both taking everyone’s bag with plenty of space, and not having the common sense or empathy to consider the short connection. I was the first to get the luggage taken.
@JetBlue@islandofgarbage Update. 2am in San Juan. Of course, the luggage didnt make it. No ticket. Completely arbitrary behavior and now I have to suffer for someone’s lack of judgment, hopefully not bias based on destination, while traveling in planes with TONS of free overhead.
@JetBlue Of course, they let a white guy a bit later bring his carry on. They did ask me where I was going before denying… perhaps because I was flying to my beautiful @IslandOfGarbage?
