I’d recommend:
1) click @alert_gc - Blocked? Block back.
2) not ‘Blocked’? Block them. That way, your Tweets won’t be ‘picked up’ in any ‘scans’.
3) Share this, if u feel so inclined, BUT, only AFTER u’ve BLOCKED above, or you’ll ‘alert’ them.
Thanks for reading xx

@darrenfarish I don’t think he’d use ‘gentlemen’, more likely to use ‘guys’ or ‘boys’, imho.
I get what you mean re ‘precious’, but I think balance and correct use of language is important. Pearce’s use of ‘ladies’ feeds into the narrative of the Lord Sugar controversy, if you ask me.
QUESTION:
Watching #WEURO2022#GER v #ESP
2nd Half just kicked off.
Commentator, Jonathan Pearce, references half-time discussion (Gabby Yorath, Vicky Losada, Fara Williams) and uses ‘ladies’ 😬
Sure he wouldn’t’ve used ‘gentlemen’, if 3 men, but what should he use? ‘Girls’?
@Rebecca35935662 Thanks 👍🏻
The 3 I mentioned though weren’t playing, they were half-time ‘studio’ pundits.
Pearce is a ‘Marmite’ character, & a bit ‘old school’. He gets on my tits, tbh!
There was controversy a day or so ago, with Lord Sugar complaining about an all-women BBC coverage team 😬
Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has hinted the BBC dance competition could debut its first gender-neutral pairing in the upcoming series, due to air later this year.

@TwisterFilm God, I remember the shit they, and imbeciles like OJ, gave @ALLIANCELGB, who were way, way ahead of the game.
I know it can only ever be speculation, but I wonder how things might’ve developed had the Alliance been listened to and taken seriously all those weeks ago.
@JurassicParkTho@FondOfBeetles @CarbyDood How does a 5yr old get past Twitter’s sign up procedures, and where would a 5yr old pick up language like that?
Gotta blame the parents.
Time for a visit from social services, I reckon.
@blah_blablather Wise words indeed, and those 'willing to vote for the other party no matter what flaws lie therein' words sound horribly familiar to me, here in the UK.
Right. So here we go again, my 3rd encounter with having my IP stolen. This time of my book, The Five. 2 years ago I was approached by @VICE productions to co-present and advise on a documentary series about the Ripper victims, which I ended up pulling out of. Here's the story.🧵
@Wright95Ann …and 'as long as you pay rent who cares?' one of the replies.
🤔
Can’t see THAT being a particularly wise strategy!
'Yeah, 30 years they gave me, for slicing-up two girls. TWO! THIRTY YEARS! Bit harsh, right? But I’m not bitter, and I’ll pay my rent on time, in advance.'
Success today as new UK Govt minister agrees to meet with me to take forward discussions on my #OnlineSafetyBill amendments to ensure @Twitter are subject to anti- discrimination law in their content moderation policies #SexMatters. https://t.co/kt0cc80xZu
In such times of madness, where, today, terms such as 'safeguarding' and 'boundaries' are deemed 'phobic' by perverts & abusers, and their enablers, might those with the power, actually fucking DO SOMETHING for once!!! 🤬
