An 8 year old and a 16 years old being obsessed with the same band as the same time are getting two VERY DIFFERENT experiences

I was 17 in 2012 got to go to every tour followed them across the country understood their sound and evolution better was old enough to develop real crushes on them etc

Meanwhile you’re a child with a child’s brain and child’s money and child’s limited ability to go and travel and follow the band etc

You were a cute little fan sure but it’s not the same as the people who literally worked part time jobs just to afford concert tickets and then spent our entire summers following them on tour. You’ll never get the experience we had no matter how much you convince ourself
