$TapeFour’s appeal goes beyond token distribution. It makes mining part of the project’s launch model.
Launched through a new model by https://t.co/ScY2yzLNuG and TapeOut, the project focuses on NAND transistors, mining rig assembly, and mining participation. According to the project’s design, 95% of the total supply is distributed through mining, with no tokens reserved for the team. At graduation, at least 5% of the funds raised are allocated to a PancakeSwap liquidity pool, with the LP tokens permanently locked.
However, having no team allocation and permanently locked liquidity only tells part of the story. These features alone don’t prove that the economic model is fair.
The actual return on mining hardware, the token emission schedule, the costs participants must bear, and whether miners continuously sell their rewards will all affect circulating supply and the market’s ability to absorb selling pressure.
Rather than focusing on the hype on launch day, I’m more interested in sustained mining activity after graduation, the actual circulating supply, and the depth of liquidity.
The new model is worth watching, but ultimately, the real test is how it performs in practice.
