@RF_Journo@kelseadurham@elisha_cote This was just a joke! Obviously we know that GM’s must do what is best for the team. We were just making light of the whole situation :)
A message for all current and future PWHL GM’s:

This is one of my favorite pieces I have written, but also the hardest. Knight was not just a good player to Boston, she was our captain, and our anchor. Her efforts and legacy will not be forgotten as she prepares for her next adventure in Seattle. #ITR

I was all for the idea of expansion after the second season, especially out west in such strong hockey markets. However, the execution of it all was awful, ESPECIALLY with the draft.
They tore down all the original six teams just to form two super teams for them to compete against. What’s the point of an expansion if you are just going to dismantle the existing teams.
To everyone in the LGBTQ+ community, you belong in every rink, every locker room, and every part of this game.
Hockey is for everyone, and pride is always worth celebrating. You will always have a place in this sport and this world🫶🏳️🏳️⚧️
