[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

Thank you very much to those that stepped up @terriblelabs, @annkissam, boosterllc, @zipcar, @gameface_media, & @rbmretail

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

Unfortunately we came shy of our 30k sponsorship goal by $7k.

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

We’re half way to our goal of raising $30k of sponsorship commitments. Thank you to @BoosterLLC, @TerribleLabs, & @Annkissam for stepping up

[Brian Cardarella @bcardarella]

We have decided to see if a change in format can save @WickedGoodRuby with sponsors. Please spread the word: https://t.co/RdndvjrM0I

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

There is a chance to save the event https://t.co/oKTObwcP1D

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

@thatrubylove no, that was a secondary reason. Lack of sponsorship was the primary one

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

Another great conference to consider is @nickelcityruby organized by former Bostonian @qrush

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

@charliesome we were proud to have to here!

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

For those interested in details please check out the @BostonRB thread https://t.co/azeI7LSDDA

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

@grossberg ticket sales were strong. We were 1/3 sold. Zero sponsors and zero women agreeing to or submitting talks

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

We’ll be reaching out to all ticket purchasers.

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

Ticket reimbursements will be done in batches of 10 tickets per week over the next 9 weeks. (we had sold 91 tickets)

[WickedGoodRuby @WickedGoodRuby]

We were going to wait until next week to announce but no time like the present. We’re canceling Wicked Good Ruby.
