@Devon_Eriksen_@fiago7 Yup. Southern Scandinavia? Great Lakes area weather. The Great Lakes are at Spanish latitudes. Go west from Helsinki/Stockholm and you end up at the vast uninhabited wilderness in Canada and then Anchorage, Alaska.
It's self-evidently the opposite. As people watch autistic, mentally ill, gender non-conforming, and merely quirky children being indoctrinated and consumed by a cult of medicalized self-harm being fed by the organs of acculturation, as they witness revolting spectacles of these brainwashed children being inflicted into girl's changing rooms and athletic competitions, as they see adult male autogynephiles performing their sexual fetishes in absurd and degrading public spectacles, as they see reports of male rapists and murderers being inflicted on women in prison, as the see the pervasive violence in the online and street messaging of transgender activists, they conclude that the movement is the most pernicious and ludicrous travesty of a civil rights movement in their lifetimes. It is not lack of familiarity with the products of this movement but growing familiarity with it that drives its ongoing nosedive in popular acceptance.
Because you’re in someone else’s country so you have to justify your presence.
We’re in our own country and don’t have to justify ours.
You’re confused by this because your whole life you’ve been told it’s your country just as much as ours. But it isn’t. And even the people who told you that don’t really believe it.
@esrtweet Yes, we need anal rape of an autistic girl at a pizzeria, 90% membership of youth gangs in a southern Finnish city, driving through Christmas markets, and...
You want to know what's most chilling to me? At first I couldn't figure out what was going on with this post. Wildly disproportionate likes to views and almost no one was commenting on it. Very few were actually seeing it.
Then I started to look at WHO was liking the post.
Likes are anonymous. That's what was going on. It quickly became apparent the Northern Irish specifically and the British in general OVERWHELMINGLY were liking my post.
They couldn't comment on it and they couldn't share it.. for fear of crackdown. But the algo, recognizing that people liked it, showed it to friendly Americans who COULD share it. And did. By the hundreds.
The natives may only speak in support of their own suicide. That's all the government will let them do openly. If they speak in support of their survival they risk prison.
So they don't.
But they can, as a tiny act of subversion, like a twitter post that says exactly what they wish they could, if they only could.
That's what's happening. That's why everything seemed so wildly off.
Quiet Patriots clicking one button to show they love that finally, they are fighting back.
@MiladyBonkle@Iwgoss@Y40IFRQTTING The New World polysynthetic splotches are obviously native, local languages, since Spanish and Portuguese are fusional, not at all polysynthetic.
@EdwardBittner16@Y40IFRQTTING Which is to say, the Chinese writing system is still sound-based first and foremost, even if the characters point to something a bit more specific than merely the sound (ie. this sound used to mean this meaning). They are not scribbles recording pure ideas by any means.
@EdwardBittner16@Y40IFRQTTING The vast majority of Chinese characters are phonosemantic compounds - that is, originally characters used to write one word, and then adopted to write other similar-sounding words. Later, they had topic clarifiers added to them to distinguish between the similar-sounding words.
@JayStrickland6@jendorei@Y40IFRQTTING An alphabet isn't phonetic in that way, a system for using it to write a language is, and hangeul have a bunch of features specific to Korean. There are languages that use the Latin script and have writing systems that are highly 1-to-1 between text and speech.
@JayStrickland6@Y40IFRQTTING Hangeul would be a very poor fit for English. It doesn't accommodate for syllable-starting consonant clusters, for example, and doesn't have enough letters to represent English words.
@Cringy_goober@GrumblingGamer@sleepy_devo@BasedNorthmathr ...when policies are of endless accommodation of the foreign at our own expense, a policy mentality that's visible across the western world and earnestly championed by leftists, that is a problem. Actual historical accuracy is not.
@Cringy_goober@GrumblingGamer@sleepy_devo@BasedNorthmathr No, that part is not. But when things are directionally in the vein of Sowell's "multiculturalism means you are allowed to celebrate any culture but western culture, and to blame only western culture and no other", or...
