I watched a YouTube video explaining it after and enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t have gotten all those details in 1 playthru

Lake of Rot might be the only blemish when it comes to Elden Ring. The main driving force of the game (exploration) is taken away because of the rot build up and the game doesn't give you any way to avoid it (that I know of).
