I know I'm slow because I'm disabled and I have to account for phases where I'll be unable to work. I factor that into the initial proposal so clients can decide if they feel comfortable waiting. Lying to clients to make money will always backstab you!

[mae 🥮| working on comms @wickermallow]

Sometimes I feel guilty that my turnaround is so long, but then I read stuff like this and feel ok because at least my track record is 99% on time for deadlines 😌
The one time that wasn't was a 3 day delay with permission from the client. Why do people play with their livelihood

[ARCHIVIST 🐾ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 @SleepiArchivist]

“Why don’t you comm more”
Because I’m still waiting for a comm from 2023 that was over $200 and I’ve already come to terms that comm is dead in the water. No refund, no art. (Mind you that was a friend)
Im a reasonable client, I’ll wait years for a comm so long as you lmk wats up

If this is because of Celsys partnering with that school program, why not create an educational license that has its own built-in assets shop where educators can approve assets instead of forcing all of us to abide by rules for children?

CLIP STUDIO ASSETS
