The NY Fed's recession model puts the probability of a U.S. recession in the next 12 months at 29% -- a higher probability than what was reported 12 months before 5 out of the last 7 recessions, according to Credit Suisse.
@David_Schro To be fair to @EmmanuelMacron , if you need to raise taxes a diesel/gasoline tax is probably the smartest option. It could have been improved by returning a certain percentage as a tax-credit to people in lower income brackets

As an Italian recession becomes likely, ECB has 2 options:
1) follow through with tightening plans + cause yields to spark and some banks to go out of business
2) Extend QE and cause a loss of confidence
