The end of our first term of Year 3! Thank you all very much for your extremely kind cards and gifts 🎁 ❤️ I wish you all a wonderful Christmas break and I’ll see you in the new year! 🎄🎅🏼
A great first day celebrating the festivities. Here are some pics of Buzzard Class working cooperatively to divide by 3. Thanks to all for your very kind donations for the @WideyPTFA Christmas fair! 🎄🎅🏼🍫🍪🍩
In science this half term, we are learning all about rocks! This week, we investigated the process of fossilisation. We were working in groups to make predictions!
After lunch, we stepped into the Palaeolithic period of the Stone Age and investigated a woolly mammoth. We also used our skills as historians to research what things were, why they were used and who would have used them. A great trip solidifying our prehistoric knowledge! 🦣
We had a wonderfully insightful day at @theboxplymouth, adding to our Stone Age learning and beyond. We started the day with a look at the 3D screen to gain an insight into Plymouth sounds rich history.
Can you support our raffle in any way? Maybe you have a bottle of wine to donate? Unwanted new items that could be perfect for someone else?! Or maybe you have a business contact who can support the school? Please get in touch if you do 🙂 @wideyprimarysch@DrakesDenPlay
Helpers wanted ❗️📣
On Thursday 2nd Nov, Year 3 are visiting the box for the day. The trip will be action-packed and partially self-guided and as a result, we are looking for some parent helpers to join us. If you are available and interested please get in touch for more info!😁
Today, on #WorldMentalHealthDay2023, we discussed ways to look after ourselves and others, we shared the story of ‘The Dot’ and what we can learn from it. We also listed some star moments from our lives in the past week and created dream clouds with things we hope to happen!
Spending our twenty-minute read time outside with @wideybuzzard class. We were so impressed with their incredible reading 📚 it was lovely that the sun came out for us as well ☀️
Celebrating European languages day, we listened to some Welsh songs, learnt some key phrases and collated some facts about the country and language! 🏴
