I think part of why dive players get so defensive is that these heroes take a ton of time to actually learn, while the things that shut them down are usually way easier to execute.
You can spend hours learning combos, movement and how to find the tiniest opening just for the answer to be Thing existing nearby, C&D freeze or one defensive cooldown. Those things SHOULD counter dive, but there’s definitely an asymmetry when learning the hero is much harder than learning how to shut them down.
And even when a diver is doing their job (forcing cooldowns, dragging attention, breaking support LOS) that barely shows on the scoreboard, so the second things go wrong everyone assumes they’re doing bad.
Also supports and divers are naturally gonna hate each other a little. One wants to freely use their cooldowns and keep LOS on their team to heal them, the other literally exists to stop them from doing that.
I’m not even a real dive player, I just wish people were a little more sympathetic towards them. Maybe if we stopped treating every struggling diver like they’re griefing and try to cooperate with them, they’d be a little less defensive too
Doesn’t mean every dive player is good or innocent, but I do think people underestimate how frustrating that role can be.
@TyluhFryz It's honestly depressing how little they care abt OG, from adding bots to no promotion, tons of bugs. Destroying such a beautiful chapter. It's honestly depressing because now many people look back on chapter 1 and think its only nostalgia or its overrated/boring.
Me and Bro landing at Dusty 🤝 Duos now live in Fortnite OG!
We've also made matchmaking improvements in all Fortnite OG playlists. Drop in and cop the win 🏆
@TyluhFryz I hate how mobility has essentially become a must have item every game. In earlier chapters, it wasnt really like that and it was only carried by people with aggressive play styles.
