I said goodbye to a patient a few years ago. She didn’t die, she just got old. I treat patients to age 21 and they move on. When they do, I joke, “well, I did my job! I kept you alive until adulthood!”

Man, so proud of my friends in college getting degrees! It’s not a easy thing to do, sleepless nights, tough exams, nobody knows what it’s really takes till you go through it, I’m so proud 🤍
I really think there should be inter professional curricula and collaboration courses for med students to bring awareness about the other important healthcare professions out there and how we all work together as a TEAM to increase the access to quality care.
