So many things wrong with pharmacy funding. No current pharmacy contract (still on 2015 money) . Medicines cost more than we are paid by the department of health. We will not survive without funding increases. #saveourpharmacies
@NPA1921 Pharmacy Day of Action.
Please support you local pharmacies and raise awareness of the funding crisis.

The situation with atorvastatin supply and prices continues to be shambolic and unpredictable - transparency is required from @DHSCgovuk as community pharmacies cannot be expected to be out of pocket. This is unacceptable and must be sorted. #pharmacy
@PharmRJ Unless for clinical need (as per BNF) then there is no need. Costs the NHS more money in the long run. Should be challenged if forced to. Shortages of Besavar, Betnovate, Clinitas, Zapain (to name just a few) would never have lead to delays for patients or need for alternatives.
Atorvastatin is one of the most commonly prescribed #medicines. Its price has been rising leaving community pharmacies who r already struggling financially out of pocket.There are big issues with medicines shortages &high drug costs. It seems @DHSCgovuk have no grip on the issues
@DerekTwiggMP @mariaeaglemp@georgehowarthmp Thank you for your support. We hope they also cover the use of 'branded generics' which will decimate the local Pharmacy network if some of the switches are allowed to go ahead. @PatelSuk@HSHK_LPC

"Without this medication my body starts to shut down."
Pharmacies are "on the brink of collapse", leaving customers like Vicky waiting 10 days for crucial medication.
@rachelburden@bbc5live@BBCSounds 30% cut in funding over the last 7 years. We have no staff, stock and yet are expected to be the first point of call for patients to take the pressure off GPs and Secondary care. Pharmacy leaders join forces to write to the Secretary of State https://t.co/CwJZSJ85HF
Happy New Year! 2022 was tough but our fantastic staff have made the most of a NHS on its knees. With your support in 2023 we can continue to provide for our community.
Emergency supplies of meds from a Pharmacy is at the discretion of the Pharmacist. Most drugs (liable to abuse) or controlled items will be refused. This is outside of the NHS so will be liable for a charge to cover the cost of the meds
