(1/2) It appears that recent versions of macOS are displaying only one wireless network when receiving two beacon frames with the same SSID but different encryption types. E.g. assuming "foo" that is OPEN and "foo" that is WPA2-PSK, macOS will only show the network received last.
To everyone attending @defcon next week:
1. Clean your PNL (Preferred Network List)
2. Revoke Wi-Fi permission for all installed apps
3. Disable any Wi-Fi features that enforce automatic association
4. Turn off Wi-Fi completely
5. Enjoy the conference
