Trump says final details of an Iran agreement will be announced shortly. If this deal includes any requirement that the Iranian regime abandon its nuclear program and hand over its already highly enriched uranium, Trump is going to be very disappointed. The Iranian regime will never agree to abandon its nuclear program. Their radical religious end-times ideology holds that they must destroy the “Great Satan” (United States) and the “Little Satan” (Israel) in order to bring forth the Mahdi and establish a global Islamic government. They believe they need nuclear weapons to do that.

There Isn't Going to be a Peace Deal - At Least Not Yet

There will not be a negotiated settlement of peace to end the Iran war, at least not yet. The only way the Iranian regime would ever agree to such terms is if it becomes severely weakened by another round of military strikes, accelerating the regime’s collapse alongside the existing financial damage from the blockade — forcing them to choose survival over ideology. Even then, they would likely sign the agreement only with the intention of violating it later, just as they did with the 2003 agreement with the EU3 (France, Germany, and the UK) — where they agreed to suspend uranium enrichment and conversion activities but resumed them by 2005 — and with the 2015 JCPOA nuclear deal, which they began breaching in 2019 by exceeding stockpile limits, enriching uranium beyond permitted levels (up to 60%), and restricting IAEA inspections.

Finish the Job

The United States and Israel must finish the job. The Iranian people overwhelmingly reject this regime, yet the mullahs have murdered over 42,000 protesters in their brutal crackdowns while continuing to export terror through their proxies who slaughter innocent people across the region. The only lasting solution is to topple this regime through decisive military and economic pressure, allowing the Iranian people to finally reclaim their country from the mullahs and build a peaceful, non-nuclear future free from apocalyptic ideology.
