A great group of young men. I have watched them all grow up in the Cleveland community. I even coached them or against them at GCAA. I am extremely proud of what they accomplished at Cleveland HS. Good luck to each of them!
If you see the following players this week, please congratulate them on making the Greater Neuse 4A All Conference team. The honor is well-deserved by each player.
Baron Williams
Dylan Wiggins
Dylan Smith
Trey Fields ( Conference Player of the Year)
@Finest2022 I assume you mean Baron Williams. He was one of the best PG's in the state this year. He put Cleveland on his back numerous times and got them to the Final 4 in the State. He deserves to be recognized.
A Huge Cleveland Congratulations to:
Trey Fields - 1st Team All District
Dylan Wiggins - 3rd Team All District
HC Justin Batts - District 3 Coach of the Year
Over the next few weeks, Iโm going to post some stats & accomplishments of the Cleveland 2021-22 Menโs Basketball team. For starters, here is a team photo of our record-breaking team. What a great group of young men!
Congrats to the Boys Basketball team on their 83-62 win at Richmond in the 4A State playoffs. Cleveland advances to the 4A Eastern Reg Championship & will play Panther Creek at Green Level HS on Sat, 3/5 at 6pm.
Info about tix and live streams will be provided later today.
Man... just got a feeling that @CvHSMBB has something special going on. Been paying attention to them all season long, they bring veterans to the court, and if you haven't seen them, it isn't too late to take notice!
We are headed to the Eastern Regional Final! Thank you for being there for us tonight RamFam. You are awesome! Location & time for the Final will be announced tomorrow.
How bout Jayse Barrett? Starts the year injured, has a setback on said injury, talks about quitting, keeps working instead and now in a fourth round playoff game having a major impact. Happy for that young man.
The seniors at Cleveland and Millbrook stayed down, worked, stayed patient, never transferred, and now look. Letโs re-normalize this behavior. Work hard enough and your time is coming. Keep your core together and find success.
