@KulM96@Notepad_plus ha ha ha in two tweets you
support elon who openly uses twitter to push personal agendas and call out notepad++ saying you will uninstall and never use the app again. for *checks notes* pushing personal agendas (and leaving this app).
too much irony!
@KlasfeldReports@pbump@washingtonpost it's wierd to expect your partner to tell who they voted for, or to be aligned to you. I've never once asked my wife who she voted for or tried to persuade her for a candidate.
She wasn't political when we first met and I encouraged her to read all candidates and form a view.
@joshtriedcoding Nice one.
its been a while since I worked with Epson TM series, but FYI there is a tool that you can upload a 2 colour bitmap logo that auto prints at top of every print job rather than using ASCII art. can't recall if it's standalone or part of driver.
@mikex163 @JBHenline@AntiEVidiots not to mention that it's in the power companies interest to have people subscribe to the system, so reneging on a deal would be a very short term gain for them.
@JulieLovesFluff I've learned a new phrase "flagger" in the UK, diversions (which are always preagreed with council) they set up yellow signs with 1 of 8 symbols. each later turn has just the symbol and an arrow.
It works well and there is no financial advantage to sign post a different route.
@MarkFunnell6 posting direct rather than under the original thread as there is too much trolling there. but a recent meal at @wahaca they include low/medium/high carbon traffic lights on their menu. I made a conscious change in choice for a lower carbon impact option.
@TheOceanCleanup so inspiring. well done,
One thought occurred to me watching this, is any of your research looking into the construction/deterioration of the salvage nets you are using and if this could lead to better solutions for fishing nets to reduce their plastic waste. @BoyanSlat
@FornolesEfren@BoyanSlat It's an interesting problem. but also should the plastic consumer take their own part of the responsibility in this? much of the river bound plastic is because we as consumers are irresponsible in how we use and dispose of our waste.
@davepl1968 we all know its driven by engagement. (good or bad), unfortunately the stupid takes often get more engagement than an intelligent well considered post that days everything you agree with. I'm sure even pausing on a post longer than typical is measured.
@davepl1968 an ex boss used to get really frustrated when I refused to give (in his view) simple yes/no answers. I would always qualify anything with additional relevant data if it wasn't (to me) totally clear cut
