We are fundraising to create a new museum on the Isle of wight, bringing the Islands aviation heritage together at Sandown Airport.

The Trustees and Volunteers of the Wight Aviation Museum would like to express their condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As a mark of respect the museum will remain closed this coming weekend: Sat 10th and Sun 11th September.

Coronavirus / COVID-19 Virus

As a precauntionary measure and acting on recent guidance issued by both the Government and Health England, the Directors of the Wight Aviation Museum have decided to close the Museum until further notice.

Our replica Black Arrow rocket underwent it's 1st successful raise to the vertical position this week, all went extremely well and is looking fab even with the temporary nose cone. It's back on the ground again now, but it'll be on display again soon.
