One of our contributors took photos of the remnants of munitions in Tsyrkuny, near the front line north of Kharkiv, Ukraine.
We cannot identify the model of the weapon, however. So, we are asking for help in weapon identification here.
@kushypussy@ella_camo It takes 30 seconds to make a fake linkedin account not under your name and stalk whoever, regardless of whether they work with you or not.
The current expectation that people need to essentially doxx themselves to get a job is ridiculous and should be illegal.
I found information about the Iranian F-5 attack on the US' Camp Buehring that I haven't seen reported on anywhere else.
Source is public, from March (before the attack was known) but nobody seems to have seen it.
Info:
2 F-5s attacked
~12 bombs dropped in succession
~2 duds
@websterkaroon You're right, I dont mean to rag on them for having fun in this day and age, but im just noting the disconnect between where these ideas come from and how they manifest in iranian society
@websterkaroon Likewise, over-promiscuity, car culture, and consumerism in middle and upper class areas in Tehran represent what many Iranians *believe* the west/USA is like (hence they try to emulate it), unaware that such things are, in reality, seen as cheap and tasteless by westerners.
@websterkaroon In the 2000s and 2010s something like this would by widely viewed (by myself aswell) as cool and a sign of progress in Iranian society.
Today I see it as another sign of cultural failure in Iran, where many try to apply what they think (and not what actually is) is western
@3nnadi The Islamic Republic is not innocent in that war at all but you seem to be making it seem like Saddam did nothing wrong. Both things can be and are false.
However for engagement bait purposes, being divisive and sensationalist (as you are right now) is better
@3nnadi They both shelled each other and violated each other's airspaces multiple times in the 70s even before the revolution, not just Iran. Only your third point is valid.
And that doesn't justify Saddams invasion that took the death toll from a few dozen to hundreds of thousands.
@andfogle I agree. On that same note, Iranians should have ditched the idea that western protest methods (meant to convince elected officials that their electorate wont elect them if they dont change behavior) would cause desired changes after the 2019 massacres.
@andfogle This is the only real criticism of Pahlavi that I accept. Yes he is divisive and inexperienced, but so are many effective leaders.
The issue is, and always has been, that he has done nothing, and acts like he cares while relaxing on his wealth that could be used to organize
