More on vaccines. I'm going to get boring and geeky on this (no apologies) on the 10 year thing. Vaccines "normally take 10 years". This is being use as a reason to be fearful (ie rushed job). I'm a clinical trials doc. I can tell you most of that time is spent doing...1/n
On first glance I thought there was a twig on my bag....turns out it’s a caterpillar epically camouflaged....nature is cool 😄😲🌿🐛 #naturelover#wildlifeuk#camouflage
Amazing to see not 1 but 3 beautiful Red squirrels when visiting Formby nature reserve at the weekend! Only the 2nd time I’ve ever seen them in the wild. Gutted I didn’t have my camera with me 🐿🌳@nationaltrust#conservation#nature#nationaltrust
I’ve been taking part in an online teacher training course taught by @Place2Be discussing mental health in children and I came across this really interesting Ted talk! 📚 Definitley worth a watch if you’re interested in the long term effects of MH 💭

12 tonnes of rubbish left on Bournemouth beach yesterday. People had even defecated in burger boxes & left on beach. We are creating a pandemic & pollution hell on Earth #Covid19UK#plasticpollution
Unfortunately RP’s are classified as endangered mainly due to habitat destruction 😢 it’s important to think about where our paper products come from- look out for the FSC logo and you can help protect the forests which animals like this live in! #conservation#FSC#protect
Just look at his face😍 Did you know that RP’s can eat up to 20,000 bamboo leaves a day?! They are such low energy animals that they basically just eat, sleep, repeat...not a bad life hey! #wellingtonzoo#redpandanetwork#conservation
These little ones used to love using us as a vantage point to look out for danger. There is always at least one member of the mob on sentry duty, if they sense danger nearby they’ll make an alarm call which tells the rest of their group to go hide in their sandy burrows! 🌞🏖
So I’ve decided to properly return to twitter and to start myself off again I’m going to do a weekly #throwbackthursday series of my time as a visitor engagement ranger at @wellingtonzoo where I worked this time last year! Prepare for lots of #conservation and #nature talk!🌿1/2
