Red Soldier Beetles

Say no to pesticides and attract natural predators instead

Seen during the summer, these beetles are a great help to our #gardens, feeding on #Aphids. The larvae even feed on Slugs!

This is the first time we’ve seen these here which is a great sign

Did you know that the family name for wrens is Troglodytidae, meaning 'cave dweller'. You can often see them looking for food within crevices or sheltered areas such as log piles.

This area naturally stays damp even during the Summer months, and fills after heavy rain creating a #pond which lasts for some time, it’s the perfect #wildlife #habitat.
