By channeling your investment through EIIS you're fuelling job creation, innovation, and economic growth right here in Ireland. Fundraising through EIIS is projected to reach at least €100 million by year-end — the highest level since the Celtic Tiger boom in 2007.
4. Entry investment starts at €5,000 and maxes out at €1M per year. Hold for 4 years, and watch your effective returns soar – all while diversifying your portfolio into high-potential Irish companies.
3. For high earners paying 40% tax on salaries, bonuses, rentals, or pensions, this is a smart way to offset liabilities without the usual restrictions of other reliefs.
2. Imagine putting €50,000 into a promising SME – after tax relief, your net cost could be as low as €32,500 but get keep 100% gross return on the upside
EIIS is a game-changer that's practically a no-brainer for anyone with a decent income tax liability.
Here's why:
1. EIIS lets you invest in qualifying Irish startups and growing companies, and in return, you get income tax relief of 35% on your investment

I’ve always said that I am the anti-biohacker. Biohacking for health is usually like day trading for financial security. You’re really gambling, and you really have to get things right. At best, you’re wasting your time with maybe a few lucky hits here and there. At worst, you’re sacrificing your long-term health.
But someone asked me: are there any supposed biohacks that I do support?
I guess there are. One is what a friend of mine calls reverse searing the sauna. Instead of sitting in the sauna for 15 minutes just to get a sweat going and then staying in another 15 or 20, what he does is train hard, build up a sweat, increase his body temperature in the weight room or gym, and then hop in the sauna. If you go in the sauna already warmed up and sweating, you only need to stay five to ten minutes before it’s unbearable. For me, that’s the marker I’m looking for. When the sauna gets unbearable, that’s when I know to get out. It cuts your sitting-in-the-sauna time by about three quarters, and you’re still getting most of the benefits.
Another biohack I subscribe to is walking after a meal. You’ll often hear people say to walk after a meal in order to lower blood glucose and improve digestion. I’ve written about this in the past, and it’s definitely true. The reason I like this is because it’s not some mechanical, highly engineered action whose only purpose is to lower blood sugar. It is also casual and enhances quality of life. You eat a nice meal, go for a walk with your spouse or friends, and continue the conversation. It’s functional. It’s something that makes sense even if you’re not thinking about the health effects.
And this is a recent one, and it’s dead simple. I’ll sometimes add a tea bag or two to coffee. This one I do for a couple of reasons. I wanted to drink more tea, but I’m not a big fan of just drinking tea by itself. I generally like to have a cup of coffee and then go about my day. I don’t want to sit there with a big mug of coffee plus a cup of tea and alternate between sipping one and the other. It’s all a little silly. So what I’ve sometimes been doing is just brewing coffee, pouring it, and then adding a teabag to the coffee so that I get the coffee and the tea together. I actually really like Earl Grey for this. Something about the citrus bergamot blends really well with coffee. I first started doing this when I was staying at a hotel and went down to grab coffee in the lobby, poured a cup, and then saw the teabags sitting there. I had just been reading about tea and figured, why not just add it and see how it goes. It worked pretty well. Other good blends include chamomile added to coffee. It’s a nice way to mellow it out. And you can also do green tea or oolong. The way I figure it, brewed coffee is the perfect temperature to extract tea.
The thing about these biohacks that I like is that they aren’t any extra work. If anything, they reduce the amount of work I have to do. But they also stand on their own. Even if there were no health benefits, they still enhance the experience.
🚨 Weight-loss drugs like Ozempic sent nearly 25,000 people to the ER in just two years.
A new study shows that GLP-1 medications, while powerful, are not without serious risks — especially when misused or misunderstood.
Let’s break it down. 🧵 (1/9)

Omega 3 Fish Oils.
Supplementation with the omega 3 fish oils, EPA and DHA, have been shown to marginally lower blood pressure.
Omega 3 fish oils should really be considered as supplemental to an aggressive lifestyle approach and not as a substitute for it.
