@shaunvlog_ Take I-65S from Nashville and avoid Atlanta. From Montgomery take US-231 through Dothan and on towards Panama City. Then continue your trip as planned.
@NCDOT Progress is slow but steady. Still a long way to go. Difficult work repairing the damage done by Hurricane Helene. Thank you President Trump and FEMA for funding the I-40/Pigeon Gorge reconstruction.
Big progress in the Pigeon River Gorge.
Crews have placed ~68,000 cu. yds of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), enough to construct about three-quarters of a mile of retaining wall.
That’s about 8% of the total RCC planned for the I-40 recovery project following Hurricane Helene.
Listen here, North Carolina — Roy Cooper spent years treating our beautiful home state like his own personal punching bag. He blocked parents from protecting their kids, opened the door for men to invade our daughters’ sports and spaces, killed real energy projects that could’ve lowered costs for working families, and tied our sheriffs’ hands so criminal illegals could roam free instead of getting sent packing.
That wasn’t leadership, y’all — that was straight-up sabotage. And now this disaster wants a promotion to the U.S. Senate? Bless his heart…
We’ve got a real fighter in @WhatleyNC — Trump-endorsed, battle-tested, and actually ready to throw down for North Carolina values every single day instead of selling us out.
What really burns my biscuit? Some of these so-called conservatives out here still dragging their feet, playing games, or letting nonsense distract them from fully backing our nominee. If you claim to love this state, our kids, our borders, and our Southern way of life, it’s time to quit the weak-kneed nonsense and get all-in for Whatley. The primary is over. This is war.
I’m proudly riding with @WhatleyNC all the way. No excuses, no hedging — just straight fire for North Carolina.🔥🇺🇸

When it comes to the filibuster, a lot of folks in the Senate are hiding behind “precedent” that isn’t really there.
For the majority of its history, this chamber didn’t rely on a 60 vote threshold for legislation — even after the cloture rule was established.
If we want to accomplish what the American people expect of us — like SECURING OUR ELECTIONS — we need to get back to that.
Use it or lose it. Either enforce the filibuster or get rid of it. But we can’t continue like this.

The cannons don't thunder, there's nothin' to plunder.
I'm an over-forty victim of fate.
Arriving too late, arriving too late.” - Jimmy Buffet
@JimHendley4NC Belgium was clearly the better team last night. They outplayed the USMNT in every facet of the game. The FS1 Time-of-Possession graphic showed ball control to be fairly close. It certainly didn’t look or feel that way.
