I'm Nathan. Just a guy watching the parade pass by.

@Interstella4L When men get rejected by society, they tend to respond two ways.... dropping out, or getting violent. It think we are seeing a bit of both now.

@paulharper75 I am in the same boat. Never been married, and no kids. But I am in my mid sixties and ready to retire. I can't deny that I love the peace and quiet of home.
And I have no need for a woman who adds nothing but problems and baggage to my life.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

@Truthpole This sounds more like John Keel territory. Keel noted that to understand the high strangeness stuff you would have to have an understanding of demonology (among other things).

He never saw the massive success of the song. Here is the original song the solo featured on. You likely wont be familiar with the song, but listen and see if the guitar solo is familiar.

What might be the best known rock and roll guitar solo of all time, was actually originally done for another song entirely, by a guitarist who wouldn't live to see it's hugely popular second life. The guitarist was a session player named Danny Cedrone. cont..

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

The B-side was a song called “Rock Around the Clock”, and Haley had only twenty minutes to finish it. He suggested the guitarist repeat the solo from the earlier song to save time. 2 weeks later Danny Cedrone fell down a flight of stairs, and was killed.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

@HorribleSanity So the UFO's come down, see the geoglyph, and say "Hmm good eating here". Or maybe not.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

@dickandcomix @SoveyX I've always wondered who actually watches old school network TV. I guess people can watch these shows on streaming apps now. But who would bother besides shut-ins.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

@tucsoncrimefree Tucson could be so much more....(sigh)

The oddest thing about the ghostly train, is that their is no record of tracks ever being laid for rail travel in that barren area. The witnesses go back to the old west days.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

Just outside of the isolated Dragoon Mountains on the alkali flats headed towards the town of Willcox Arizona, scores of folks over the decades have claimed to have heard a phantom train racing through the desert. A few have even said they witnessed it rolling by.

@moonbeamdreams_ A bad job makes everything else in your life seem not as pleasurable. If you have the extra funds, let it go. Something better will usually turn up.

[wildbluefrontier @wildbluefronti1]

@moonbeamdreams_ Always loved the sound of a harp on just about any song.
