An update from Tasmania: like most people in these troubling times, I’ve experienced some Corona complications. The short version is my Kingston Beach accommodation fell through, but luckily I’ve found a wonderful fill-in arrangement; bye bye beach, hello mountain!

@Rose_HMD @KJohnsonauthor @zdaniel @Qantas So sorry to hear this, Heather, I hope shes doing OK. 🙁 Big virtual hugs to you.

@sk_richards Congrats Kate! 👏👏👏

Time for a new adventure ... I’m moving to Tasmania for 6 -12 months, to research and write my novel. I’ll be living in beautiful Kingston Beach, where my great-grandfather and grandfather Kingston used to run the corner store. Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways.✨

This has been a day of discoveries. This leaf featuring Wilde’s epigrams was also in a box of uncataloged materials.

@htaylorjohnson Your talk was brilliant, Heather. I’ll never look at those Van Gogh paintings the same way again. ❤️

@Rose_HMD @adelwritersweek @AllenAndUnwin @MatildaBookshop @DymocksAdelaide Yay!! 👏👏👏 Can’t wait 😘

After #OscarWilde and #EnidBlyton, I'd love to write a novel about #RoaldDahl. A trilogy of tributes to my childhood heroes. https://t.co/Gx7evDSo4W

Could this finally be a photograph of Isola, beloved sister of #OscarWilde? https://t.co/4aAc4AkyPL
