3 Italian Members of the European Parliament, @annacisint, @SusannaCeccardi and @SardoneSilvia from the Lega party played a great role in passing a tough resolution in the European Parliament on banning the Muslim Brotherhood and combating political Islam.

The Muslim Brotherhood has been spreading in Europe for years with the help of Qatar and Turkey, which provide the needed funds and other forms of support.

Anna Cisint later told the Italian press:

"The atmosphere has changed and the Patriots have set the agenda.

Over the past two years, we have managed to put radicalization and Islamic extremism at the center of the agenda, and today a resolution was passed with the first, fundamental pillar for defending our democracies from the Muslim Brotherhood.

The text calls for them to be placed on the list of terrorist organisations and for important countermeasures to be taken against radical Islam.

We are talking about a threat to the foundations of our freedoms that is already here.

We are talking about an Islamist network that wants to kill our democracy. And it does so in a slimy way: insinuating itself into our society, appearing moderate, friendly, often precisely to that left which coddles them and puts them on their lists for political candidates”
