Pastor Khalid Mezher, leader of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Church, was killed in Sweida following the jihadist invasion, along with his entire family, his siblings, their children, and his parents.
Originally from a Druze background, Pastor Mezher and his entire family had embraced Christianity many years ago. They remained in Sweida, where they established a local evangelical church.
They were never harassed by their Druze community. But after the jihadists invaded Sweida, Pastor Khalid and twenty members of his family were brutally murdered.
The Christian Post: "Dear Tucker, It was excruciating watching the interview you did with Ted Cruz a few days ago. Apart from the confusion regarding the political realities on the ground, you made several theological errors too. Let’s start with Genesis 12:3, which Senator Cruz quoted. It obviously does not say we are to bless the “nation …" Continue reading "An open letter to Tucker Carlson from an Israeli Messianic Jew" https://t.co/QJrddk0PX1 #antisemitism #Bible #News
Why do I celebrate Hannukah?
As an Arab Muslim, I celebrate Hannukah with pride. To me, Hannukah is my favorite Jewish festival because it commemorates a group of extraordinary Jewish heroes who refused to be persecuted for their faith.
Antiochus Epiphanes, the Syrian Greek ruler, sought to install Jupiter (or Zeus) inside Beit Hamikdash, the Holy Temple. He believed Hellenizing Judea would strengthen the Seleucids, but a group of firm believers in God resisted this religious oppression. Judaism brought the concept of monotheism to the world—the worship of the one and only true God—which Islam also upholds. Antiochus’s goal was to eradicate the Jewish faith in the land of Israel.
Then came a fierce warrior and leader who honored the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: Judah the Hammer, or Judah the Maccabee. He led a rebellion against the Greeks. It was Judah who lit the menorah with oil that was sufficient for only one day, yet it miraculously burned for eight days.
Hannukah reminds us of Judah’s unwavering stance for monotheism, a principle that made Israel special among all nations. As a firm believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I celebrate Hannukah in honor of the Hasmoneans and their crown jewel, Judah the Maccabee.
May this Hannukah be a blessing to all. Amen and Amen.
A reminder:
Jesus - whose birth 2.38 billion Christians (and many others) will celebrate tomorrow - was Jewish.
He was born in the Jewish indigenous land. lived as a Jew. He died as a Jew.
He was a Jew.
Let us start with the obvious.
Jesus was born a Jew into a Jewish family. Jesus had a Jewish upbringing and would have become a bar mitzvah.
Historical fact 1: Jesus was born Jewish
Pope Francis,
Jesus is Jewish. He was born, raised, was crucified and rose as a Jew.
You attending this nativity showing baby Jesus lying on a keffiyeh, implying Yeshua was a Palestinian, is awful.
The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of genocide for defending his people and his country. It seems their hypocrisy knows no bounds. Join me in praying for peace. https://t.co/JzxAnmL4S7

Witnessing this as I left the Trump victory party moved me to tears. These people have been slandered and demeaned. They are good people. Patriots of all backgrounds who love this country and came together to make it great again. 🇺🇸
Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on being elected the 47th president of the United States of America! I pray that you will look to God every day for His guidance and wisdom.
“When will we make the determination that we will not bend the knee? We better make that determination before Nebuchadnezzar hands down his decree, and we better mean it when we say it. Faithfulness is costly.”

But the Holy One, Blessed Be He, redeems us from their hands.”
We love all that stand with the Jews and Israel right now. I mean that.
Thank you for your continued support. It will never be forgotten.
Why are we not hearing on the news about what's going on in North Carolina?
Towns are decimated. Gas shortages everywhere. Roads are blocked. Many remain without government assistance.
What is going on??
