I request that you consider lowering the direct deposit requirement to $100. This adjustment would make Chime Perks significantly more accessible to retail workers and individuals with variable incomes, fostering greater inclusivity for all your customers.
@Chime I am writing to express my feedback regarding the current eligibility requirements for Chime Perks, specifically the $200 minimum direct deposit threshold.
As a retail worker, my weekly hours fluctuate due to factors outside of my control.
When my hours are reduced, I temporarily lose access to these perks and must re-qualify once my hours increase again. This policy unintentionally penalizes hourly employees who experience inconsistent scheduling.
@ChimeHelps That pending charge of $13.89 will sit there for 7 business days exactly and then not go through. Someone is making money off that pending hold, and it's not me. Again, how is this legal to do?
@ChimeHelps This is the break down example: The original hold amount was $42.95. $24.45 on 11/13/2024 and $4.61 (tip) on 11/14/2024.
It appears that charges of $24.45 and $4.61 from the initial hold were put through leaving $13.89.
$42.95 - 24.45 - 4.61= $13.89
@People4Portland Us not addicted to drugs and not crazy, get lost in the cracks and also are the ones refusing shelter because of the conditions and way we are treated. I fell on hard times and they kept trying to put me in addiction counseling. I finally just gave up on 211 and shelter help
