The Pravasi Rajasthani Meet – Tourism Sector Pre-Summit in Jaipur brought together stakeholders ahead of Pravasi Rajasthani Divas, under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Diya Kumari.

Ms. Kamiya Jani of Curly Tales, speaking at the Pravasi Rajasthani Meet – Tourism Sector Pre Summit, shared how her love for travel was truly realised in the heart of Rajasthan, in the dunes of Jaisalmer, where the unmatched hospitality inspired her to share such stories globally.

Smt. Preeti Satyanarayana, President, EaseMyTrip, speaking at the Pravasi Rajasthani Meet - Tourism Sector Pre Summit in Jaipur, highlighted how digital marketing is rapidly boosting Rajasthan’s global footprint; beyond palaces and forts.

She also said that with no entry barriers, artisan and local communities continue to enrich the tourism industry, while AI-driven portals, smart keywords, and technology will make Rajasthan’s story even more compelling worldwide.

Shri Arun Misra, CEO, Hindustan Zinc Limited and Executive Director, Vedanta Group, while talking at Pravasi Rajasthani Meet - Tourism Pre Summit said that Rajasthan’s progressive tourism policy is transforming the state’s image; beyond wedding, rural and wildlife tourism

He also added that under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, key events like Rising Rajasthan and IIFA are turning Rajasthan into a year-round tourist destination, with major efforts underway to strengthen connectivity across India, making Rajasthan a preferred choice for investors and travellers worldwide.

The Pravasi Rajasthani Meet – Tourism Pre-Summit in Jaipur began with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, honouring Rajasthan’s timeless culture and rich heritage; the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge, energy and positive beginnings, was lit by Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Ms. Diya Kumari, Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Rajasthan and other distinguished dignitaries including Shri Suman Billa, Additional Secretary, MOT, GOI; Shri Onkar Singh Lakhawat, Chairman, Rajasthan Heritage Authority; Shri Praveen Gupta (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism, Art and Culture), Government of Rajasthan; and Shri Arun Misra, CEO–Hindustan Zinc Ltd & Executive Director, Vedanta Group among others marking a celebration of the state’s legacy of art, hospitality and tradition.
