@StephLiberatore Rolling valley pool? Man, that brings back memories. I would recommend meeting the parents on the swim team. They always seemed to be a welcoming community.
@Ladiwoods1 Hi Lauren, I’m a friend of Steph Liberatore…. I am very interested in this and can send you a DM or an email the next day or two! I’m currently preparing for international travel and a little hectic today
Hi friends & plc, I’m taking 33 middle school multilingual students on a field trip to the Portland Art Museum for the Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera exhibit and Powell’s Books. To make things special, I’m hoping to raise over $500 so each student can buy a book for their own library.
@OptimistPanda I’m having vocal surgery in two weeks and struggling with the pain caused by a polyp. Pray for easing the pain, the patience to get through my dayjob, and care from a higher power. I’ll pray for you, too, Shane.
His lyrics moored me in art, in the messiness of love, in wild stories from “Fosca” to “Assassins,” and in commitment to craft.
He helped so many people with his music and words. His songs will live as long as there are people to sing them. #Sondheim
Watchcry:
“Trouble is, son, the farther you run,
The more you'll feel undefined.
For what you have left undone, and more,
What you've left behind.”
Since I was 10 and first saw “Into The Woods,” I always had words to help me come back to the truth.
@Liz_Prato Thank you for posting about your experience, Liz. Your vulnerability makes it easier for others to share what’s going on with them. I appreciate you
Hey PLN, wondering what you say when a middle school student says that he’s really bored with all of his classes and has begun skipping school? What are ways that you would connect and offer encouragement? #pln#eld#support#teachers
